U3A stands for University of the Third Age. A U3A is a university in the original sense of the word: a community of people devoted to learning. We are a volunteer co-operative of older people who share many educational, creative and leisure activities. Although it is called a "university", being in your Third Age is the only qualification needed to participate in our U3A.

Is there a limit of courses I can enrol in?

There is no limit to course enrolment.

Can I bring my children to class?

Classes are adult attendance only.

Can I try a class before joining?

Yes you may attend three classes before payment is required.

When can I enrol?

Enrolment & renewals commence in January each year. New members enrolling from October-December will pay $70 membership fee which covers the following year.

We offer a range of courses and activities.

Courses and activities are of varying lengths and are held in venues throughout our area. Prospective tutors for new classes are always welcome, too. Learn more about our classes, or find out how to enrol.

A renewal notices will be sent out for payment in January each year. Payment to be made when class registration forms are submitted.
